Marking on flexible packaging
The Videojet DataFlex Plus printing system represents the latest generation of thermal transfer technology for marking on flexible packaging. The DataFlex Plus is suitable for intermittent and continuous applications and can be adjusted to production requirements. Thanks to its optimised function to save on colour ribbon, the nominal ribbon loss between consecutive prints is minimised to 1 mm.

High-resolution print quality
The thermal transfer printer DataFlex Plus (TTO) delivers high-resolution print quality on flexible film packaging or labels. This new printing system is ideal for marking variable data such as the date, time, batch code, ingredients and logos. The efficient printer is best suited to applications in the food industry, e.g. bakery items, confectionery, frozen foods, pre-packaged fresh vegetables, meat and coffee or for household goods and medication.

Minimal downtimes
The DataFlex Plus is characterised by its tried and tested coupling-free thermal transfer ribbon drive with low maintenance requirements, minimum downtimes and therefore high availability. The long colour ribbon and the technology that saves on it minimise the number of colour ribbon changes and downtimes during production changeovers. The nominal ribbon loss between consecutive prints is just 1 mm. Ribbon changes are fast, easy and virtually error-proof. More prints per roll can be achieved and at a consistent level of image quality.

Easy to operate
On the colour touchscreen, the user navigates the self-explanatory graphical interface and WYSIWYG display quickly and easily. Reduced downtimes and lower training costs make the DataFlex Plus printing system an efficient solution. The system also has various interfaces and up to four printers can be controlled with one control unit.
