Printhead rotation for maximum flexibility
The Patrion Plus can be used both for marking using drop-on-demand (DOD) technology and for high-resolution (HiRes) marking. Up to 8 individual printheads can be controlled with the Patrion Plus Controller. The resulting combinations ensure maximum flexibility for your applications.

Drop-on-demand (DOD)
The DOD printhead is able to mark both porous (e.g. cardboard boxes) and non-porous (e.g. shrink film) material with the right water-based or alcohol-based ink. Using different font matrixes, 1- 8-line dot matrix marking can be carried out at line speeds of up to 61 m/min. The font size varies between 10 and 50 mm per line, depending on the selected printhead.

High resolution (HiRes)
The HiRes printheads work according to the piezo principle and, with a 150 dpi (vertical) resolution, produce a high-definition image for texts or alphanumeric characters, graphics and logos and modern bar codes. The HR/120 printhead uses various matrices to print one to four lines with a font height of 4-20 mm per head.
