Patented Dock Bumper

The Stertil PE dock buffer is arguably the most innovative loading bay product of the last decade. One of the most important products on the loading bay is the humble dock buffer, it protects the vehicle and the building and softens the impact of the vehicle hitting the dock thus also protecting load.
The PE's patented design incorporates a heavy duty, galvanised steel frame housing impact absorbing rubber blocks and guides for the low friction polyethylene front plate. The front plate is locked in by a simple box section which is fastened by two M16 screws. This simple but effective design means that the front plate can be reversed, or indeed rotated with its partner, to present more wear areas for a longer life.
This is as simple as it sounds, undo the two screws, take out the box section and slide the front plate out. At this point you can either turn the plate upside down or swap it with its partner on the other side of the dock leveller.
The Stertil PE buffer has no fixing holes in its front face so there is nothing to catch vehicle projections in, just a smooth low friction face. Stertil also supply a wide range of traditional rubber buffers in a variety of shapes and sizes including the L shaped buffer.
