Impact, vibration, dust, dirt, water, aggressive cleaning agents and accidental overloading are “business as usual” in the daily environment of an industrial scale. Despite these conditions, the scale has to deliver precise weight results and be easy to operate and clean. The Goettingen-based technology group Sartorius is now launching the Midrics family of scales that are made to meet these requirements and that can be custom-configured by the user or are already factory preconfigured.
The Midrics scale is offered in the most diverse range of versions and selection of features:

- Platforms with capacities from 3 kg to 3,000 kg
- Platforms with a choice of finish: painted, galvanized or stainless steel (AISI 304)
- Various levels of international protection ratings: IP 65, 67 or 68
- Legal-for-trade models with resolutions of 3,000e and 2 x 3,000e (two weighing ranges, accuracy class III); standard, non-legal-for-trade models with resolutions of 15,000d
- Optional explosion-protected version for zones 2+22
- Factory preconfigured versions optionally available for use “right out of the box”
