Automatic strapping machine

The automatic strapping machine is designed for transverse and longitudinal strapping of packages with steel and polyester straps.

The package is placed on a roller conveyor and the strapping machine straps the package transversely and longitudinally with steel or polyester.

Firstly, the strapping machine has to be programmed to strap with steel or polyester. Afterwards, the number of longitudinal and transverse straps will be programmed from the terminal.

Once the strapping machine has been programmed, the package is moved by a roller conveyor and the spindle head lowers itself to make the first longitudinal strap.

Once the programmed longitudinal straps have been made from the terminal, the spindle head rises and the package withdraws to be able to turn a quarter of a round. That way it is placed correctly to make the transverse straps.

After the transverse straps have been made, the spindle head rises to its starting position and the package moves to the end of the roller conveyor.

This strapping machine has been designed to strap with steel and polyester strap, having two strap dispensers and two strap collectors. Changing the selecting switch from the terminal, and modifying several hydraulic pressures, it can strap without distinction with steel or polyester strap.

The estimated time for each strap is 16 seconds.

The strapping is done directly on the same strap, that is to say, it turns around the coil, and in the second turn it staples the same strap. These strapping machines have a piston unit known as the strap pulling unit. Because of this, it's possible to strap the package with the pressure the client wants.

The spindle heads used by the strapping machines for 19mm steel and polyester straps are standard. They can therefore be mounted onto any 19mm Saizar strapping machine.

This machine adapts to the client's needs regarding coil size, available space, coil weight, etc.
