Automatic strapping machine

The automatic strapping machine has been designed for radial strapping of coils with automatic ring insertion.

The coil is placed on a table and the strapping machine straps it with steel or polyester strap and with or without ring insertion.

Firstly, the strapping machine has to be programmed to strap with steel or polyester, and one has to make a choice between with or without rings. Afterwards, the number of radial straps will be programmed from the terminal.

Once the strapping machine has been programmed, the spindle head moves towards the coil to strap it with the programmed radial straps.

Once the first strapping has been done, the spindle head recoils half a meter so the table can turn the coil a quarter of a round, to do the second strap.

After the corresponding straps have been made, the strapping machine places itself in the starting position.

This strapping machine has been designed to strap with steel and polyester strap, having two strap dispensers and two strap collectors. Changing the selecting switch from the terminal, and modifying several hydraulic pressures, it can strap without distinction with steel or polyester strap.

The estimated time for each strap is 14 seconds.

The strapping is done directly on the same strap, that is to say, it turns around the coil, and in the second turn it staples the same strap. These strapping machines have a piston unit known as the strap pulling unit. Because of this, it's possible to strap the package with the pressure the client wants.

The spindle head heads used by the strapping machines for 32mm steel and polyester straps are standard. They can therefore be mounted onto any 32mm Saizar strapping machine.

This machine adapts to the client's needs regarding coil size, available space, coil weight, etc.
