RAVAS develops Windows® CE/Mobile software for the integration of mobile weighing systems

RAVAS introduces a new software interface enabling RAVAS weighing systems to be integrated directly with Windows® CE or Windows® Mobile terminals.

The RAVAS weighing system is being connected to the mobile terminal via Bluetooth or a wired connection. The RAVAS-software on the terminal enables the operator to read out the weight shown on the terminal and to operate the weighing system remotely. Not only weighing data, but also product and order details or possibly a barcode scan can be added to the weighing and stored for direct or afterwards processing.

The user friendly RAVAS-software enables the user to use only one terminal, everywhere in a warehouse or production facility, to register important weight and product information. Combined with a mobile terminal the RAVAS weighing system offers numerous opportunities for the collection of information during, for example, order picking, production preparation and processes or waste registration. The RAVAS-software creates a platform to, for instance, use an online connection between the mobile terminal and a company’s network and process the information directly in an ERP-tool. Offline users can download the registered information later onto a PC.
