If you are looking for a gas detection system that will provide added safety in areas that are not formally classified but where there may be some risk of explosion, then choose Gascheka™.

Gascheka can be fitted locally by a competent person to almost any plant equipment to detect a flammable gas/vapour.

Safety for non classified areas
  • Rapid Startup with compulsary gas test so you know it's working. Long life test gas cylinder.
  • Detection Technology: Utilises pellister technology and detects a large range of gases. No configuration needed.
  • Sounder: Audible sounder upon detection and equipment shutdown.
  • Design Robust, ergonomic design with ambient temp. -20°C to +40°C and enclosures designed to comply with IP65
  • Automatic timer shutdown
  • Fail-safe Tested to rigorous standards with fail safe operating sequence.
  • Not for Zoned areas. Does not allow equipment to be used within Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 hazardous areas.
NOTE: Pyroban utilises gas detection in it's Zone 2 solutions system 5000 (fork trucks) and 3GP (offshore). In these cases gas detection is only one element of the complete Pyroban system.
