Thermal Pallets Go Polar

The ‘Tranzcube' solution offers a thermal pallet cover which attaches simply to a supplied reinforced thermal pallet creating a sealed unit to maximise temperature retention. This is ideal in a closed loop situation, especially where wooden pallets can not be used. The normal pallet cover is available individually if not pallet is required.

The ‘Multi Stack' solution offers a sealed thermal pallet where existing pallets have to be used, whatever the type. A thermal base is put onto the pallet, followed by the product, then a thermal lid and finally a thermal wrap.

Temperature controlled logistics is becoming increasing challenging with tightening legislation. Many ambient goods now demand that the temperature is contained within certain limits.

Independent tests have shown a temperature change of approximately 0.7ºC per hour - less if aided by ice packs. These products offer excellent thermal control through the application of Polartherm® an amazing triple insulation that displays outstanding thermal qualities.

Developed using NASA technology, Polartherm® is made up from an inner reflective layer, a hollow-fill fibre filler and a woven PVC outer - the result, a material that is both tough, very long lasting and lightweight.

The high thermal control properties of Polartherm® have been substantiated through independent tests conducted by Cambridge Refrigeration Technology, who found the material to have the best thermal insulating properties in its class.
