1% of all tall pack glass bottle loads collapse or are compromised during transit and never reach their intended destination. Each pallet of glass costs between £200 - £300, which means every pallet produced carries an additional burden of £2 to £3 each.

Loadhog identified this problem and developed the SmartStak system to address it.

When applied to tall packs the Smartframe compensates for elastic properties of vertical strapping, resulting in less percentage load of strap tension compared to the conventional wooden and rigid plastic top-frames.

Over time the Smartframe retains a better comparative pack tension. Constructed from a two-part assembly that encases springs capable of providing a 1500kg of stored energy, the Smartframe is comparable in weight to conventional frames, but is more hygienic. During transit the Smartframe is dynamic, acting as a spring damper. Whilst maintaining higher tensions within the pack, the dynamic nature of the frame again assists in the reduction of bottle scuffing.
