Installed with the front open, supported by the walls of the building, occupying an outdoor space or yard, creating an additional permanent or temporary covered space. The marquee is closed lengthwise along the supporting structure and along the ceiling, the remaining sides are; one that is partly supported by the existing building, the other is the entrance which is open, with the option of closing with sturdy curtain shutters.

This type of marquee comes with many advantages: a covered area for the storage of merchandise on pallets or not; loading and unloading operations always carried out in a covered area without taking up floor space inside used by vehicles or merchandise. Further more since the marquee covers the entrance doors it protects the personnel from cold air entering or warm air escaping from the building.
