Detailed information about the product Software

Integration of handling equipment and software is a key strength of all Knapp solutions.

SOFTWARE LEVELS
WMS (Warehouse Management System): It coordinates and optimizes all processes (from goods-in to dispatch) in real time in both automatic and manual warehouses. Competent logistics for warehouse management. From goods-in to dispatch, KISoft WAREHOUSE coordinates and optimizes your warehouse processes in real time. No matter if you have an automatic or a manual warehouse, this warehouse expert among KNAPP's software programs is your key to success.

WMW (Warehouse Middleware): It bridges the gap between the WMS and WCS if the warehouse management packages in use are unable to establish a connection to the automated picking systems. The WMW includes all functionalities not directly connected to the Warehouse Control System (WCS). This functionality is rather more part of a warehouse management system (WMS). However, since not all WMS packages can comply with these requirements, it is offered as an additional option of the WMS.

  • Order restart: An order already started can be started again manually.
  • Dynamic order start: It calculates the expected transit time for each order then starts the order at exactly the right time.
  • Automatic order start: Orders can be started in any sequence.
  • Container database: It registers how many reusable plastic totes have been delivered to each customer and when.
  • Jlabel: It is simple to interactively generate complex label designs for printers by Zebra Technologies Corporation and SATO barcode label printer.
  • Customer data visualization: All container data from the current day is visualized for each customer.
  • Loading list: The HGV drivers can view the sequence in which the containers of each route are to be loaded onto their vehicles.
  • Route visualization
WCS (Warehouse Control System): It coordinates and controls all warehouse processes from one central point. The direct connection with all sub-systems guarantees a fast, intelligent and target-orientated performance of all warehouse systems. Having the WCS on a separate level, subordinate to that of the host system, means that the software can be adapted specifically to your needs to achieve perfect warehouse organization.
  • Urgent container control: It places for urgent containers in the various warehouse stations.
  • Consecutive container control: It allows a consecutive container to be generated into which the picker fills all remaining products.
  • KISoft CONTROL: It coordinates and controls all warehouse processes.
  • KISoft TRANSPORT: Intelligent conveying.
  • KLASS-X: High-performing, scalable and expandable warehouse control system.
  • KLASS-S: It is a warehouse control system running under Windows for smaller warehouses.
  • Weight check
Sub-systems: The sub-system software packages assume the control of individual components and can be integrated into virtually all main systems.
  • OUTDOOR
  • Automatic addressing
  • KISoft DYNAMIC PICKING
  • KISoft MOTION
  • KISoft PICK TO LIGHT
  • KISoft RF PICKING
  • KISoft VOICE DIRECTED PICKING

Integration: The open architecture of KNAPP software products facilitates the perfect coordination of all system components and the integration of customer HOST systems with various warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP).
  • KISoft INTEGRATION
  • KLASS-X Integration
Visualization: The visualization software package provides a single user interface for all operations. It allows the warehouse status and warehouse data to be visualized, and warehouse components to be configured.
