Durosealer
- Brand: Durocem
Chemical hardener and sealant with anti-evaporation action.
Detailed information about the product Durosealer
DUROSEALER is a consolidating surface treatment for application on hardened (after float finishing) or cured concrete to seal, protect against dust and evaporation, cure, harden. Its special formula enables the inorganic reagent to penetrate deeply into the pores of the concrete by 2 to 10 mm. Initially, the reaction balances hasty or uneven moisture loss of the casting, resulting in the creation of crystals that block and seal the support over time. This effect is generally inhibited a year after casting, when its overall action terminates.
Fields of application
Particularly suitable for industrial, quartz-finished concrete flooring. It penetrates the concrete, blocking the pores and transforming it into a solid and dense mass, preventing phenomena such as chalking, breakage and cracks.
Features
DUROSEALER is ready to use. On hardened surfaces (after float finishing), a single coat is applied by spraying (using low pressure spraying equipment), using a roller or a brush.
The surface can be polished if a smoother and semiglossy finish is required. Consumption depends on the porosity of the concrete and the room temperature. Recommended quantity: 150/300 gr/m2 Please consult our SERVICE DIVISION for information concerning the application of DUROSEALER on cured surfaces.
Storage
Store DUROSEALER in a cool and ventilated place. Storage time in the original unopened packaging: 12 months.
Packaging
DUROSEALER is supplied in 200/1,000 kg packs.
Maintenance
Clean the surface with plenty of water and a neutral detergent (do not use caustic soda), rub down well; eliminate oil and grease with an emulsifying agent for oils.
Warning
Protect the surface with care for the first 6 - 12 months as it may be subject to staining.
