Long life product
Wire rope winches from Büll are the result of a long experience in the field. We assure a high quality product with a certified construction. The modular solution offers a big number of variations, to meet the customer requirements.
1. Motor
Single or dual speed motor (multi-pole solution). We have chosen the cylindrical type of motor in order to reduce any kind of problem in maintenance, avoiding the sliding of the rotor. Our motors come from the market, according to IEC rules.
2. Brake
Eloctro-magnetic disk type; asbestos free. No sliding of the shaft; the brake torque is adjusting in a very wide range of values. Low current input and noise.
3. Spur gear
Three steps epicyclical type.
4. Frame
A rugged frame made by two side steel machined flanges, connected by four high quality steel rods.
5. Drum
Single or double rope steel drum with maintenance free central bearing.
6. Safety limit switch
Worm gear safety limit switches for hook position, with possibility of adjusting for intermediate positions.
7. Electric control
Contactor control box with "emergency stop". Variable frequency control is also available.
8. Overload safety device
The device check the current input of the motor. Its function is to measure the minimum overload to the motor and than to stop the movement, in order to protect both the operator and the machine, when a load, over the nominal capacity, is applied to the hook. The device has a timer in order to prevent the intervention at the starting.
Selection to FEM
To select the suitable hoist, for the application, first of all the mechanism group must be determined. This depends on the operating time group and load spectrum.
Selection:
- Average hook path HW (m)
- Hoist speed V (m/min.)
- Cycles/hour ASP
- Working hours per day AZ
Determination of average operating time per working day (tm).
tm = (2 HWASPAZ):(60V)
Load spectrum
Estimate which of the load spectra shown below corresponds to your application: light, medium, heavy and very heavy.
Mechanism group
- Light: only occasionally loaded to maximum, medium load tm: (h/day)
1-2: 1Bm 2-4: 1Am
4-8: 2M 8-16: 3M - Medium: occasionally loaded to maximum load, constantly low, medium load.
- Heavy: frequent maximum load, constantly medium and high load.
- Very heavy: Regular maximum load, very high dead load.
